Calling all homebrewers & craft beer aficionados! We are opening up our Hopyard to the public! We will be offering both cascade & chinook hop varieites for u-pick on Saturday, August 27. Attendees will be given a wagon ride out to the hopyard where we will be cutting the bines for you, after which you will have space available to pick & bag your hops for homebrewing. Along with the hops, we will be speaking to you about growing and harvesting hops in Michigan.

We have also teamed up with Perrin Brewing for a luncheon with the Brewmaster. After picking hops, take a short drive through the Ridge to Perrins' for a lunch and beer tasting with the Brewmaster. The Brewmaster will speak about using wet hops for beer and how hops apply to their ever-growing craft beer business.

This is a great opportunity to learn about growing, harvesting and brewing with local hops! We are excited to share our story with you and how hops have become a part of our nearly 100 year old farm. Our farm market & bakery will also be open on saturday with fresh produce, donuts, fritters, turnovers including a featured donut made with one of Perrins craft brews!
